BE AWARE!

Due to skydive operations, all users of the Goolwa Airport are requested to NOT join the Goolwa circuit on the west (dead) side of the circuit and NOT to join mid field crosswind.

All circuit entries must be on downwind or final or (when the regulations change) on base leg.

Further to this it is requested that aircraft do not overfly Goolwa airfield for the safety of skydive operations.

Passing through South Australia?

Stop at Goolwa for Fuel (at a fair price) just say G’day, or stay for a few days and hire a car. You can enjoy the Fleurieu Peninsula with its shopping centres, hotels, motels, golf clubs, yacht clubs and  marinas. You could cruise the River Murray on a paddle steamer or catch a steam train to Victor Harbor. You can visit the various wineries, museums, craft fairs and country markets in the area. Other activities include trout fishing, whale watching or visiting a wildlife park. At the Goolwa airport itself you can indulge in the extreme sport of tandem skydiving. You get all this plus our great temperate climate, what a great place to stay.
